free water working air-conditioning fresh towels

i am super excited the rooms include complimentary bottles of water daily. i liked the air conditioning worked great and i was comfortable. the hotel provided fresh towels daily in a clean room, i was so happy.

the hotel room looked quite dark because of very poor lighting.

A Reasonable Stay

friendly staff clean room communal area weed smell employee confusion no food

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I met some other patrons in the lovely communal area. The room was clean and well-appointed.

The hotel does not serve any food. I found a dusting weed smell in the lobby coming from the check in counter. The employees seemed confused and did not communicate well.

Decent Stay with Minor Issues

loud air conditioning cramped breakfast area

The air conditioning unit was quite loud. It made it difficult to sleep comfortably (I'm not a light sleeper). The breakfast area felt cramped. It was hard to find a table during peak hours (around 8 AM).

friendly staff perfect location extra towels

the staff at the front desk was very nice! they promptly provided extra towels when i asked. the location is perfect, it is just minutes from wall street! several subway stations are also nearby, including the staten island ferry.

the room was a bit noisy at times, especially with street traffic.

I really enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese reception every weekday. It featured good wines. a cheese board was also available! the hotel provides morning coffee as well, very convenient.

Housekeeping came every day and kept my room so clean! the reception staff was helpful and attentive to my needs, for example, keeping my luggage safely after checkout. everyone i met was very kind. I appreciated that.

I appreciated the complimentary wine and cheese in the second-floor bar. It was a nice touch. the subway station was very close to the hotel. the staff gave good information about local restaurants, really useful.

the room lighting could be better as it was a bit dim.

Romantic Getaway, Perfect Service and Prime Location

prime location genuine care modern decor

The staff were AMAZING!!! They tended to my every need with smiles and genuine care. The location was perfect. I adored the decor, a Standard Queen room was clean and modern!!!
